Being starved of magazines, I realised today, has had a massive affect on my creative flair. Yes, I can go online to research looks but it’s not the same. What's better than lying on the couch with a glimmer of Winter sun shining through the window, warming me, while I casually flick through the latest looks...?
Magazine reading is romantic, don’t you think?
I indulged in this today with a copy of Grazia. This Grazia was not bought, but pinched from my hubby’s work place. When I say “pinched” he was allowed to take the mag because his work mates had finished with it. Ok! Conscious-clear-mag reading! Phew.
Check out this look I found! I think I can totally rip this idea using my current scarf collection, adding the look to any outfit (minus the full bodysuit/playsuit action because let’s be frank, it’s too bloody cold and who is confident enough to fancy-pants-about in the street wearing such a thing?!).
What do you think? I gave it a crack today over the outfit I was wearing. Not bad eh? I felt so in vogue and won’t have to spend a cent! Whoop!
looks good. Here's a tip - Brisbane City Council Libraries keep loads of fashion magazine titles like "Vogue". Membership is free. Good way to still feel like you're getting your mag fix.
